Located in the Tan Hung District of Vietnam, the Lang Sen Wetland Nature Reserve was created in 2004. It is nearly 2,000 hectares (about 5,000 acres) and is a critical wetland habitat. It is a mix of marshes, grasslands, and forests that flood seasonally. This reserve has become a restoration project, headed by IUCN, PAN and CP Group. Scientists are calculating how much carbon the forest here can capture.
