Litoria daraiensis, Litoria gracilis, Litoria haematogaster, Litoria lisae and Litoria naispela were all determined to be new species in Papua New Guinea. One characteristic that these species share is that they all lay eggs out of water. Scientists say this is atypical for treefrogs making them a distinguishable species in the Pacific.
