Abigail Maley

Abigail Maley

Abigail Maley’s background is in terrestrial ecology, animal behavior, and conservation biology. She has worked mainly in the different habitats of the eastern deciduous forest of North America and her research has focused on the ecology of reptile and amphibian species especially the relationship between genetic diversity and landscape characteristics, the social behavior of plethodontid salamanders, and the use of citizen scientists to document and monitor the health of amphibian populations. Her experience working with these different aspects of herpetological research makes her a useful resource for future ARTI endeavors.
