Alan Robinson

Alan Robinson

Alan is trained in zoology, marine and terrestrial ecology and has had a long professional career in planning of marine and terrestrial protected areas in the United States, Latin America, Africa and Southeast Asia. His years of residence and conservation planning in tropical nations, including Indonesia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Panama, Paraguay and Bolivia, as well as the southeastern US and the US Virgin Islands, have brought him into close contact with the environmental and human population pressures on amphibians and reptiles which ARTI seeks to address.

From management planning to protect the endangered Komodo dragon to developing protection programs for sea turtles in Bali and the Caribbean, his professional experience places him in a respected position to advise on both theoretical and practical solutions to address imminent threats to amphibians and reptiles.
